Exempts licensed professional engineers from soil classifier licensure if they complete specific training and have bonding and insurance.

The bill amends the South Carolina Code to exempt licensed professional engineers from needing a professional soil classifier license when performing soil evaluations for conventional onsite wastewater systems. These engineers must complete the onsite wastewater training program certified by the Department of Environmental Services and maintain appropriate bonding and insurance. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
