Excludes tips from South Carolina gross income computation.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to exclude tips from the computation of gross income for state income tax purposes. Tips are defined as discretionary payments. The amendment applies to tips included on statements furnished to the recipient's employer as required by federal law. The change takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
