Establishes term limits for House of Representatives and Senate in South Carolina.
The bill amends the South Carolina Code to set term limits for state legislators. It prohibits any individual from being elected to the House of Representatives if they have served six terms in the same body. Similarly, it bars any person from being elected to the Senate if they have served four terms in the same body. Terms served before January 1, 2024, do not count towards these limits.
