The South Carolina House of Representatives honors the Pee Dee Academy football team and coaches for their impressive win of the 2024 South Carolina Independent School Association Class 2A State Championship. The team, led by Head Coach Jonathan King and Assistant Coaches Dan Barker, Brian Davis, Kyle Drew, Michael Martin, Stump Spivey, and Danny Barker, defeated defending champion Bethesda Academy 52-14. Standout player Tristan Heckman scored four rushing touchdowns and set a school record with 38 points.
