Requires electronic monitoring for certain sex offenders convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to require active electronic monitoring for individuals convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the first, second, or third degree. The court must order electronic monitoring upon release from incarceration or under the supervision of the Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. The person must be monitored for the duration of their time on the sex offender registry.
