Establishes the South Carolina Minority Health Disparities Study Committee to address racial and ethnic health disparities.

The South Carolina Minority Health Disparities Study Committee is created to examine and reduce health disparities among racial and ethnic populations. The committee will establish measurable outcomes to improve screenings and treatments for breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancer, HIV/AIDS, immunizations, and cardiovascular disease. It will also make recommendations to close gaps in minority health outcomes and increase public awareness. The committee is composed of members from the House, Senate, and relevant health departments.
