South Carolina H3548 amends Section 16-3-600 of the South Carolina Code to redefine assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. The bill specifies that a person commits this offense if they unlawfully injure another person and either great bodily injury results or the act is accomplished by means likely to produce death or great bodily injury.
