Requires retailers in South Carolina to make restroom facilities available to customers upon request.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to mandate that retailers provide access to restroom facilities for customers or potential customers upon request. Retailers may designate one restroom for a specific gender if there are multiple restrooms. This provision supplements existing laws about restroom facilities in public restaurants and similar establishments. The act will take effect upon approval by the Governor.
