The bill amends South Carolina law to require the Secretary of the South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs to appoint one county veterans' affairs officer for each county, subject to approval by a majority of the Senators and House members representing the county. The officers serve two-year terms beginning in odd-numbered years. The General Assembly must appropriate funds for two full-time employees in each county veterans' affairs office.
