South Carolina H3505 mandates additional parenting time for parents denied court-ordered time due to certain investigations or misrepresentations.

South Carolina H3505 amends the state code to require courts to order additional parenting time for parents who were denied court-ordered time due to an investigation by the Department of Social Services that did not result in a finding of abuse or neglect, or due to a material misrepresentation of fact made to the court. The additional parenting time must match the type and duration of the denied time and may include weekend, holiday, and summer periods. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
