Authorizes the State Inspector General to investigate counties, municipalities, and nonprofit entities receiving state funds.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to authorize the State Inspector General to investigate counties, municipalities, and nonprofit entities that receive state funds. It specifies that investigations can be initiated by the Governor or a majority of the legislative delegation of the county where the investigation is located. The Inspector General must report annually on the number of investigation requests received and completed. Information related to investigations remains confidential for up to ten days after the report is finalized and published.
