Expands the definition of "exceptional needs child" to include foster children for tax credit purposes.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to expand the definition of "exceptional needs child" to include a child who is in foster care. This change applies to the Educational Credit for Exceptional Needs Children's Fund, allowing foster children to qualify for the tax credit. The bill takes effect upon approval by the Governor and applies to income tax years after 2024.
