Provides additional per pupil funding for charter schools in certain counties or with high poverty rates.

This bill amends the South Carolina Code to add a new section providing additional per pupil funding for charter schools. The additional funding is available for charter schools located in specific counties or those with a high poverty rate. To qualify, a charter school must be located in one of the specified counties or have at least 75% of its pupils in poverty. The bill also requires the charter school to have received a rating of good or excellent on the academic achievement indicator. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
