This bill amends South Carolina law to allow concealed weapon permit holders to carry firearms on college campuses. It removes restrictions on carrying firearms on postsecondary institution properties and publicly owned buildings. The firearms must remain inside an attended or locked motor vehicle and be secured in a closed glove compartment, console, trunk, or container. The bill takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
