South Carolina H3167 mandates school districts to provide summaries of handicapped students' behavior and health information to school bus drivers.

South Carolina H3167 amends the state code to require school districts to give summaries of handicapped students' behavior and health information to school bus drivers. This information must be provided when it could impact the health or safety of the student or other students on the bus. The State Department of Education is responsible for transporting handicapped persons to and from school, and may enter into agreements for cost reduction. The act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
