South Carolina H3154 amends Section 24-21-490 of the South Carolina Code to require the Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services to consider an offender's ability to make restitution when determining the amount of their monthly payment. The bill also mandates the department to collect and distribute restitution on a monthly basis from all offenders under probationary and intensive probationary supervision. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
