Amends South Carolina law to allow court-appointed attorneys for guardians ad litem and authorizes compensation.

This bill amends South Carolina law to allow the court to appoint an attorney for a guardian ad litem. It also authorizes the court to set the compensation for the guardian ad litem, including any portion of the fee for the attorney. If the guardian ad litem needs to exceed the initially authorized fee, they must notify both parties and obtain written authorization from the judge or consent from both parties.
