South Carolina H3030 requires county and municipal law enforcement agencies to participate in ICE Section 287(g) programs and cooperate with the U.S.

South Carolina H3030 mandates that county and municipal law enforcement agencies participate in at least one U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Section 287(g) program. These programs allow ICE to train and authorize state and local officers to identify and process removable noncitizens. The bill also requires law enforcement agencies to cooperate with the U.S. Attorney's Office to initiate RICO-based seizures of assets used in illegal operations to import undocumented individuals into the state.
