Requires spousal benefits from federal agencies to offset alimony owed by the payor spouse.

The bill amends the South Carolina Code to require that payments of spousal benefits from any federal agency be used to offset alimony owed by the payor spouse. This means that any benefits received by a spouse from federal programs will be deducted from the alimony payments that the other spouse is required to make. This act would take effect upon approval by the Governor.
