This bill authorizes the city of Pawtucket to issue bonds and notes up to $2,000,000 for the construction, reconstruction, repair, and equipping of bridges and related costs. The proceeds from the sale of these bonds and notes, along with applicable federal or state assistance and other available funds, will be used for the project. The city treasurer can invest these funds in various deposits or obligations guaranteed by the United States or other entities. The city council can issue bonds in serial or term forms, with maturities not exceeding five years.
