Rhode Island S3250 authorizes the Division of Taxation to share contact information of uninsured Rhode Islanders with HealthSource RI.

Rhode Island S3250 amends the personal income tax law to provide proper authority for the Division of Taxation to share contact information of Rhode Islanders who report being uninsured on their state income tax return with HealthSource RI. This includes the name, age, mailing address, and other contact information such as email address and phone number, if available. The bill specifies that this data sharing applies only to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2026, and ending on or before December 31, 2027.
