Increases reimbursement caps for library construction projects in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island S3130 increases reimbursement caps for library construction projects, effective from June 30, 2025, through June 30, 2031. The bill applies retroactively to all eligible project costs incurred on or after July 1, 2025. The increased caps address sustained inflation, making it feasible to undertake library projects within the new reimbursement limits. The bill also allows for financing or refinancing of projects without pre-approval from the Office of Library Services, provided the documents are filed post-transaction.
