Rhode Island S3127 modifies the audit compliance requirements for municipalities' contributions to pension and other post-employment benefit (OPEB) plans. It mandates that municipalities submit actuarial studies and management recommendations to the auditor general and the director of revenue within three months of completing their annual audited financial statements. The bill also authorizes municipalities to enter into agreements with the state and its departments for the management and operation of OPEB trust funds.
