Rhode Island S3114 amends the procedures for marking and certifying mail ballots. It prohibits anyone but the voter or certain close family members from handling the mail ballot. Ballots can only be returned by the voter, an authorized person not affiliated with a candidate or campaign, or an immediate family member. This act takes effect upon passage.
