Rhode Island S3086 amends the Rhode Island Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program Act to facilitate continued administration and inter-state.
Rhode Island S3086 makes several technical amendments to the Rhode Island Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program Act. It ensures that eligible employers with more than 50 employees must provide a payroll deposit retirement savings arrangement within 36 months of the program's enrollment opening. Employers with over 100 employees must do so within 12 months. Employers offering a qualified retirement plan are exempt. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled unless they opt out. The state investment commission reviews investment options every three years.
