Rhode Island S3048 prohibits wagering on greyhound or dog races, effective January 1, 2027.

Rhode Island S3048 amends existing law to prohibit wagering on greyhound races or any other dog races, effective January 1, 2027. This prohibition applies regardless of the location where the race occurs. The bill also prevents any person from accepting or facilitating such wagering. The act takes effect upon passage.
