Rhode Island S3035 allows North Providence to mandate two parking spaces per low- or moderate-income housing unit if public transport or off-street.

Rhode Island S3035 amends the General Laws to allow the town of North Providence to require two parking spaces for each studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom low- or moderate-income housing unit. This requirement applies if the municipality determines that there is limited or no local public transportation or off-street parking available near these housing units. The act takes effect upon passage.
