Rhode Island S3010 requires the governing body of any school to report the names and reasons for termination of non-teacher employees to the Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This applies to public, private, charter, and mayoral academy schools. The Department will maintain a list of these terminations, which is not public but accessible to hiring authorities. The list will not include terminations without cause or due to fiscal issues. This act takes effect upon passage.
