Rhode Island S2954 rescinds all prior applications for a federal constitutional convention.

Rhode Island S2954 cancels and nullifies all prior applications by the Rhode Island General Assembly to the Congress of the United States for a convention to propose amendments to the U.S. Constitution under Article V. The resolution applies to all past applications, whether for a limited or general convention, and regardless of their identification or documentation. It directs the Secretary of State to send certified copies of the resolution to the U.S. House Clerk, the U.S. Senate Secretary, and the Rhode Island Congressional Delegation within 30 days of passage.
