Rhode Island S2946 amends the licensing requirements for youth camps to align with the operational and statutory framework of the Rhode Island department of human services and department of children, youth and families. The bill modifies sections 23-21.2-2, 23-21.2-3, and 23-21.2-4 of the General Laws in Chapter 23-21.2, setting new requirements for licensing, inspections, and rules and regulations. These changes will take effect on January 1, 2027.
