Introduced Text

Establishes the Super Speeder Accountability Act to use ISA devices for drivers with certain violations.

The Super Speeder Accountability Act mandates the use of intelligent speed assistance (ISA) devices for drivers convicted of excessive speeding, racing, or reckless driving. These devices limit vehicle speed to posted limits. The act requires ISA devices for license reinstatement after suspension due to such violations. Noncompliance can lead to license suspension or revocation. The Department of Motor Vehicles oversees the program, including certification of ISA providers and installers, and data collection.
