Rhode Island S2908 reduces the newspaper advertising notice requirements for amendments to zoning ordinances and planning board meetings from three weeks to two weeks. The bill mandates that notice be published in a newspaper of local circulation within the municipality at least once each week for two successive weeks prior to the hearing.
