Introduced Text

Allows manufacturer’s license holders to sell one-sixth of a barrel keg or any permitted vessel containing no more than the allowed amount of malt.

This bill amends the manufacturing and wholesale licenses for alcoholic beverages in Rhode Island. It allows the holder of a manufacturer’s license to sell one-sixth of a barrel keg or any permitted vessel containing no more than the allowed amount of malt beverage. The bill also modifies the conditions under which manufacturers can hold a wholesaler’s license, including having a labor peace agreement with a bona fide labor organization. Additionally, it sets specific limits on the amount of alcohol that can be sold or provided as samples to visitors at the licensed plant.
