Rhode Island S2729 amends the General Laws to limit tort claims against the University of Rhode Island's board of trustees. The bill also limits recovery to $100,000 and prohibits claims for pain and suffering unless there is permanent loss of a bodily function, disfigurement, or dismemberment.
