Rhode Island S2710 restricts the possession of prohibited firearms.

Rhode Island S2710 restricts the possession of prohibited firearms by prohibiting the manufacture, sale, offer to sell, transfer, possession, or purchase of such firearms. Exceptions include transferring to a federally licensed firearm dealer, an individual outside the state who may lawfully possess the weapon, or a law enforcement agency. The act takes effect upon passage and imposes penalties for violations, including imprisonment and fines.
