These devices, with a maximum power output of 1,200 watts, must be moveable, connect to a building's electrical system, and meet UL1741 and IEEE1547 standards. The bill exempts these devices from certain interconnection requirements and prohibits electrical corporations from requiring approval, fees, or additional equipment for their use. Additionally, electrical corporations are not liable for damages or injuries caused by these devices. The bill takes effect upon passage.
