Rhode Island S2643 amends the Unfair Sales Practices section to ensure that stores offering food product discounts must provide the same discounts to in-store customers as those offered to customers using electronic digital coupons. This includes making alternative methods such as paper coupons, electronic kiosks, or point-of-sale discounts readily available and easily accessible. The act takes effect on January 1, 2027.
