Rhode Island S2508 allows Class P licensees to buy alcohol from retail or wholesale establishments.

Rhode Island S2508 amends the state's retail licenses to allow holders of a Class P license to purchase alcoholic beverages from either a retail or wholesale establishment in Rhode Island. The bill also permits wholesalers to refuse orders or set minimum quantities or dollar values per order. Additionally, it allows caterers to serve and leave an event with the alcoholic beverages at the host's residence, provided they remain under the caterer's control.
