Rhode Island S2457 amends the Rhode Island Kratom Act to require that all kratom products for sale be kept behind the sales counter and within a locked case, accessible only to individuals aged twenty-one or over. The act also mandates that valid photo identification is required for all kratom and kratom product purchases, with acceptable forms including a recent photo of the individual to verify age. This act takes effect April 1, 2026.
