Allows dependents of Rhode Island National Guard members in good standing to be eligible for tuition assistance.

Rhode Island S2420 amends the state's National Guard laws to allow dependents of active members in good standing to receive tuition assistance for courses at Rhode Island state colleges or universities. A member in good standing is defined as someone participating in all unit training assemblies and annual training periods. The tuition assistance is available for courses creditable to associate, bachelor's, or master's degrees. The act takes effect upon passage.
