Sets the regionalization bonus at 2% of the state's share of foundation education aid starting July 1, 2026.

This bill amends the Education Equity and Property Tax Relief Act to establish the regionalization bonus at 2% of the state's share of foundation education aid for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2026, and each year thereafter. The regionalization bonus applies to regionalized school districts, which are those that have consolidated services to achieve efficiencies. The bill also includes provisions for funding special education, career and technical education, and school resource officers, among other educational expenses. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2026.
