Eliminates fees for National Guard vehicle registration plates in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island S2183 eliminates the registration and service charge fees for National Guard plates. The bill amends the General Laws to remove the $20 service charge and $5 transfer charge for these plates. The special plates, which carry the designation "National Guard" and an emblem designed by the adjutant general, are available to active and retired members of the Rhode Island Army and Air National Guard. The act takes effect upon passage.
