Authorizes and funds the painting of portraits of the president of the senate and former presidents to be displayed in the senate lounge.

The bill amends the General Laws to authorize the secretary of state to commission portraits of the president of the senate and former presidents. These portraits will be hung in the senate lounge or nearby areas. The state controller is directed to draw an order for payment from the treasury upon receipt of approved vouchers from the secretary of state. This act takes effect upon passage.
