Establishes the Rhode Island orange heart medal for veterans exposed to toxic herbicides, burn pits, or hazardous agents.

The bill establishes the Rhode Island orange heart medal to recognize veterans who served in the armed forces or Rhode Island national guard and were exposed to toxic herbicides, burn pits, or other hazardous agents. To be eligible, a veteran must be a Rhode Island resident, have served on active duty after December 6, 1941, have documented exposure to specified hazardous materials, and be discharged honorably. The medal may be awarded once per person, with additional clusters for verified conditions.
