Rhode Island S2130 amends election laws to require the state board of elections to report and publish all write-in votes on its website, regardless of whether the candidates are eligible. The local board of canvassers must adjudicate write-in votes in any contest where the total number of write-in votes may affect the outcome. The state board must notify the applicable local board when the total write-in votes cast in any contest may affect the election outcome. The act takes effect upon passage.
