Eliminates funding sunset, modifies eligibility, and expands hours for childcare educators.

Eliminates the sunset on funding for childcare educators, modifies eligibility to 85% of state median income, and expands funding to cover at least 20 hours per week. Families with incomes below 100% of the federal poverty level receive free childcare, while those with incomes between 100% and 200% pay a portion based on a sliding fee scale. The bill also provides childcare assistance to families with incomes below 261% of the federal poverty level for higher education enrollment and for members of reserve components on active duty.
