Rhode Island S2055 amends the General Laws to allow vehicles owned and operated by the Rhode Island Disaster Medical Assistance Team, Inc. and its affiliates or subsidiaries to use forward facing red and white emergency lights. This act takes effect upon passage and does not charge a fee for the issuance of a flashing lights permit for these vehicles.
