Rhode Island S2037 amends the General Laws to authorize the town of Barrington to provide a tax dollar credit reduction for legally blind persons through an ordinance. This tax credit reduction applies to real property owned by legally blind individuals in Barrington. The exemption amount is in addition to any other exemptions provided by law. The act takes effect upon passage.
