Exempts the real and tangible personal property of Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center from taxation.
This bill amends the General Laws to exempt the real and tangible personal property of Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, a Rhode Island nonprofit corporation located in Providence, from taxation. The exemption applies to property used directly to cultivate, preserve, and protect natural, cultural, traditional, and historical resources, watersheds, habitats, ecosystems, and archaeological sites of and within the ancestral territory of the Pokanoket people. The act takes effect upon passage.
