The bill authorizes Rhode Island to issue up to $18 million in general obligation bonds, subject to voter approval, to fund renovations at Roger Williams Park Zoo. The funds will support the renovation of existing exhibit space to house African native species in new adaptive habitats and convert the former education center into a year-round climate-controlled facility for over 25 species of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
